Timeline

We intend to submit a planning application for the new energy recovery facility at Westmill in the latter part of November 2009.

  • If the application is approved by the end of 2010 construction will begin in early 2011
  • Completion of the construction work is likely to take approximately three years
  • The energy recovery facility will start to accept waste during 2014
